Who qualifies
You likely qualify if
- Your company is a current member of NVIDIA Inception (free; NVIDIA requires an incorporated company under 10 years old, with at least one developer and a working website; any funding stage, no revenue requirement).
- Your company has not already received a Lambda Inception grant (one grant per company).
- You are located in, and pay with a credit card issued in, one of: Australia, Canada, Chile, European Union (except Lithuania), Iceland, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, or United States.
- You can put a valid credit card on your Lambda Cloud account (Lambda uses it for fraud prevention and tax calculation).
- Your workload runs on on-demand Lambda Cloud instances (B200, H100, A100, GH200) and persistent storage, which is what the credits cover.
You won't qualify if
- Companies that are not NVIDIA Inception members. The current page no longer names NVIDIA Connect (ISV program) members, who were covered under the earlier version of the offer.
- Companies that have already received one Lambda Inception grant.
- Users located in, or paying with a card from, a country not on Lambda's list (this excludes, for example, Lithuania, India, mainland China, most of Latin America and Africa, and the Middle East other than Israel, Turkey and the UAE).
- Under NVIDIA Inception's own rules: consulting and outsourced development firms, cryptocurrency companies, cloud service providers, resellers and distributors, public companies, unincorporated teams, and companies 10 or more years old.
- Spend on reserved capacity, 1-Click Clusters or Superclusters is not listed as eligible; the offer names on-demand instances and persistent storage only.
Geography. Australia, Canada, Chile, European Union (except Lithuania), Iceland, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States. You must both be located in one of these and pay with a credit card issued there.
How to apply to Lambda Cloud credits for NVIDIA Inception members
- 01If you are not already an NVIDIA Inception member, apply at programs.nvidia.com/phoenix/application (NVIDIA states there are no application fees, membership fees, equity requirements, deadlines or cohorts). You will need your incorporation date, company website, developer headcount, funding status and a company pitch deck. Wait for NVIDIA's approval.
- 02Create a Lambda Cloud account at lambda.ai/sign-up and add a valid credit card issued in one of the listed countries.
- 03Go to lambda.ai/nvidia-inception and submit the application form embedded on that page with your company and Inception details.
- 04Wait for Lambda to review. Lambda states that submitting an application does not guarantee credits and publishes no review time.
- 05If approved, the credits are applied to your Lambda Cloud account. Spend them on on-demand GPU instances and persistent storage ($0.20/GB/month) within 12 months of the date they are applied.
Review time: Not published. Lambda reviews each application and says approval is not guaranteed. NVIDIA Inception membership (required first) is also reviewed on an unpublished timeline with no cohorts or deadlines; NVIDIA says only that it will reach out after reviewing the application (inceptionprogram@nvidia.com for questions).. Apply at lambda.ai/nvidia-inception.
What changed in 2025 and 2026
The offer was cut from $7,500 to $1,000 and narrowed from "NVIDIA Inception and Connect members" to "NVIDIA Inception members" only. Third-party guides dated August and September 2026 (XRaise, fin.ai) and current search-engine snippets and titles for the same URL still show the $7,500 / Inception + Connect version; the live page on 2026-10-09 (checked via a text fetch, a raw HTML download and a cache-busted download) shows $1,000 / Inception only and never mentions Connect. The page's HTTP Last-Modified header is 8 October 2026 22:40 GMT, so it was republished the day before this check and the cut is very recent. The exact change date could not be confirmed because the Internet Archive holds no snapshot of the page for 2025-2026.

Lambda credits and your AWS bill
Lambda is a competing GPU cloud; these credits cannot be spent on AWS and do not reduce an AWS bill. Founders typically stack them with AWS Activate (AWS for the app and data stack, Lambda for on-demand H100/B200 training hours). NVIDIA Inception membership has also been used as a route into AWS Activate credits (described in a 2019 AWS Startups blog post and in 2025-2026 NVIDIA developer forum threads, some reporting approval delays), but AWS's current Activate credits page does not mention Inception, so confirm with AWS before relying on it.

Credits are valid for 12 months from the date they are applied to the account. Lambda is a competing GPU cloud; these credits cannot be spent on AWS and do not reduce an AWS bill. Founders typically stack them with AWS Activate (AWS for the app and data stack, Lambda for on-demand H100/B200 training hours). On AWS, CloudRoute matches you for free with a vetted partner who can file MAP, POC or IW funding when the workload qualifies and AWS approves it. The Lambda application you submit yourself.
