About CloudRoute
CloudRoute is a free referral service that matches startups with vetted AWS consulting partners. The partner files the AWS funding only partners can request (MAP for migrations, POC for tests, incremental workload funding for new work on AWS) when the work qualifies and AWS approves it. Startups pay nothing. Partners pay CloudRoute a monthly membership plus 10% of AWS-approved funding. CloudRoute is not part of AWS and does not issue credits.
What CloudRoute does
- A startup tells us what it is building. We reply within 24 hours and work out which AWS funding route fits: MAP for a move to AWS, POC for a test, or incremental workload (IW) funding for new work on AWS.
- We introduce one vetted AWS consulting partner and say why we picked them. The partner reaches out within 5 business days.
- When the work qualifies, the partner files MAP, POC or IW funding. AWS reviews it and approves or declines. Nothing is promised before AWS approves.
- Founders apply for AWS Activate themselves. No partner, and not CloudRoute, can file Activate for them. We tell VC-backed founders how to apply with their Activate Provider's Org ID.
We also publish a free, dated directory of startup credit programs across cloud, AI, data and developer tools.
How CloudRoute makes money
- Startups pay nothing. We never send a startup an invoice.
- AWS consulting partners pay CloudRoute a monthly membership of $5K, $7.5K or $10K, plus 10% of AWS-approved funding. How our lead generation for AWS partners works is on the partners page.
- CloudRoute is not part of AWS and does not issue credits.
